Online through Facebook ads and website. Only US sales no international. All sales will be done online only. I will be using a wholesale provider for products. Llc would cover me for selling bath and body products? I am thinking of selling bath bomb, lotion and homemade body products. Do you know what permit I would need if I do this.
Scented body scrubs, lotions, sprays, Candles etc. I need a list of items I will need to start a small business to sell bath and body products at a local salon. I don't have a name set up yet. What if my business partner lives an another state, how would we handle a business license? Would we need two separate license, one in each state?

| | I sell candles, sugar scrubs and bath products. I sell candles, sugar scrubs and bath products. Not only that, but I am in Adams Co. Pa. I will be selling at a farmer's market. Likewise, I have filed my LLC No employees. Selling bath and body products, all made by myself. What type of permits and tax IDs do I need? ?

| | I have a business in Florida and would like to sell soap on Etsy. My question is: Can I use my business name for payment processing, but use a different shop name that is more in keeping with my products?
Answer: Yes, For Homemade or Selling Soap sold at a flea market, you need a business license and a federal ID. If you use a business name, and you do "Iz Beauty," is a business name, you need to file a DBA as well and if you want to buy without paying taxes from wholesalers, obtain a seller's permit as well. If you sell soap, you do need the seller's permit.
If your soap is a cosmetic product sold, the name and address of the “responsible party” and a declaration of the ingredients in the product are required in the label because not all ingredients are approved by the FDA and other consumer protections agencies at the federal level. Whether soap online, home, store, concession stand or a mobile owner/proprietor, partnership, LCC or corporation/proprietor, partnership, LLC or corporation, all of which also require a General Business License (not a specific license for your type of business) as well. If your trade name is a business name other than your full personal legal name, you will need to file a DBA.
